Fuel lines connect in a different location. Could swap intake and fuel rails.

AIR pump mounted in a different location. 93 bolts to the frame, 94 bolts to the engine. Just leave off the 94 pump.

AIR connections are different. 93 combines the passenger side AIR and EGR in a single connection. 94 has an AIR connection added to the passenger side exhaust manifold. Keep your 93 manifolds.

Different connector on the IAC motor. Could swap throttle bodies.

94 tranny will be a 4L60E, requiring an interface with the PCM. 93 ECM does not control the 4L60 (non-electronic) tranny.

Won't use the MAF sensor from the 94.

Probably other differences, but that's all I could think of.

You could easily swap everything up to (and including) the heads.
The exhaust and intake manifolds are where you start to run into issues.
I had a 94 shortblock in my 93 for a while before I rebuilt the original motor into a 383.

The only difference other than what Fred listed is the location of the oil pressure sensor.
On a 93, it's just above the filter.
On a 94+, it's behind the intake manifold on a 90* elbow.

You can find used 93 parts relatively easily, speeddensity.org has them on a regular basis.
I see part-outs here from time to time as well.
Keep the PCM that went with the sensors/harness/fuel system/trans you plan on using.

The "early" 94's still had the oil pressure sensor above the filter. By the end of the year, they had moved it to the top of the block. He could end up with either fro a 94.

You don't have to use a MAF with the 94 PCM, but since you've got the whole car you might as well.

You didn't say you were swapping in the 94 PCM. Yes, MAF with the 94 PCM, no MAF with the 93 ECM. Put that info up front in your question, to get the answers you need.

If you are using the 94 PCM you need a 94 harness, because of the differences in the injector wiring (94 sequential vs. 93 batch-fire), and it would include the connections for the MAF, the correct IAC connection and would interface with the 4L60E harness.

I don't understand. I thought you had an entire 94 car to pull the engine from.

If so, what's complicated?

So what's complicated? You take the engine and everything attached to it out of the 94 and put it in the 93.
