Can I hold off on TB and injectors w/tune?

I have my LE2 h/c ready to go in but I don't have the money for bigger injectors, TB and tune. Can I install everything I have now, then when I have the money and the PCM tuned, can I install injectors and TB later on? If so, is there a limit to how long I can safely run just heads and cam without a tune?

I ran mine (in sig not LE2) for a year on stock injectors before I upgraded. So I'd say you can. Just as long as you do NOT have nitrous or any power adder I don't think it would be a problem. Is it best that way....probably not.....but will it be ok?? I'd say so. Just my .02. As far as the stock throttle, I'm still using my stock TB.

Ok thanks, I just want to make sure I don't mess something up by driving around for a while with h/c, stock tune and stock injectors. I figured the TB wouldn't be an issue though.

I would have to disagree... I ran my car with stock heads and a cc306 with stock injectors for a while. On the stock tune it would barely run, once things were dialed in my stock injectors were pretty much maxed.

If you are talking about LE2 cam AND heads you are talking about closer to 450fwhp.... stockers just are not going to cut it.

(The throttle body is not a very big deal)
