adjust one side of RR's and other comes loose

Just as the title says, Every time I adjust the driver side, the pass side comes loose. I am using 1/2 turn after preload, and the side I am working on gets real quiet, but the other side starts getting loud. I have no clue what to do for this... I still have stock studs in the heads and the 4-5 yr old poly locks on my cc pro mag 1.6 RRs. I am on the phone with comp right now to figure this out, anyone ever heard of this?

Buy a new set of poly-locks.
The more they are adjusted the more the bottom of the set screw wears as well as the top of the studs. Look and see if there are rings on top of the studs.

I also torque the set screws to 40 pounds. I imagine the only explanation for what you are describing pertains to the parts I mentioned.

Use his procedure. Notice how he says run the engine and work fast. The lifters will bleed down. If you are adjusting it without running the motor to pump them up, once they bleed down, they'll be loose. The lifters have to be pumped up/ran before you can adjust them properly.
