Im getting a Z28 soon and would like to put a cam in it but I also want a little lope. What would be a good cam? Thanks.

The best way to get a good cam is to ask someone who owns a performance shop and does this alot or to call a cam manufacturer, tell them what you want and they should be able to tell you what cam to get. Don't forget to mention Everything that has been doen to the car that isn't stock.

It really depends on what you want from a car. I personally wouldnt put a cam in a car if that was the only mod. Take care of headers, exhaust, and other things first.

Agreed. Get first things done, so you won't choke off your engine. I wouldn't suggest a big cam if you aren't going to go all out. By that, I mean, don't get a huge cam if you are going to leave stock heads and stock stall(if you are an A4). The car will run like crap if you do that. I think some guys are running the Hotcam w/ stock heads and what not. Might wanna look into that. Get your priorities straightened out first though, and make sure you know what you want to do with your car.
