Question cams???

i am looking for a cam that will give me about 30 horse this will include rollers, pushrodds, lifters, springs, basically the whole valvetrain. I want the car to run a little stock but loopy is fine with me, i just dont want to go to outrageous. For mods i have hooker LT's, 125 shot, hooker y-pipe, corsa exuast, holley adj. fuel press. regulator, colder plugs, msd plugs wires, 6AL ignition, Blaster coil, granetelli MAF, Kand N cai, 3.73's, 160 thermo. should i go with the hot cam or a big comp cams cam???

well there are so many to choose from its hard to give you a direct answer, a cam selection must be well thought out. THe hotcam from what I've heard at the track doesn't lope to much, not real noticable unless your exhaust is very open like having a cutout. My cam which is a blower grind doesn't lope at all, more choppy, but even then its still pretty tame, sounds less than the hotcam, and is bigger. Looks like you should have no trouble finding one that will suit your needs, I would do a search to test the waters, cause this topic comes up everyday
