camber prob on rear? wtf?
first off the only suspension mod i have is a set of eibach sportlines...
i was talking with a buddy at work the other day about my ride, and we were looking at the back tires.. i hadnt even givin it a second thought to check the inside(i am anxiously waiting for an excuse to get some dr's), but the tires are wearing on the inside edge?!?!... i have been laying into them pretty hard for the past few weeks and expected to see a good amount of wear, but each tire was mirrored with the inside 1/4 being worn with some threads showing and the outermost 1/4 still having the wearbar there! the middle half of the tires were just a nice even transition from the outside to the inside. i am utterly confused about this... when i look at the tires it even looks like they have a slight negative camber! the only results i could find about a negative camber on our rearends has to do with some serious custom stuff for autocross...
what the heck? please let me know if you have any guess as to what is going on..
p.s. i check tire pressure about twice a month.. normally dont have to throw any air in...

The obvious question: were your rears ever on the front?
Camber, especially that much and enough to cause inside rear wear is highly unlikely.
Toe out of the rear axle, or more correctly lack of a little toe in could cause the wear you noticed especially if most of your rear tire wear comes from your right foot!
Get it on a 4-wheel alignment rack and check rear camber and toe. The total alignment won't hurt and might help. Also check for worn rear control arm bushings.
DRs with a "0" Treadwear rating will probably disppear in record time if your axle is out of wack.

naw, the rears were always on the back... i didnt think there was any adjustment for the rear?? i am going to get it all checked out when i throw on some new springs and get the front aligned.. my main concern is when i get some soft chewy dr's, i dont want them to die prematurely because of a wear problem that isnt related to extensive burnouts
...

There's no adjustment for rear camber or toe except bending the housing. One possibility is a wreck. Ever been rear ended in the car?
Long shot would be the worn bushings allowing the rear end to walk around.

high mileage rear(about 120k), and i cant vouch for no accident in the rear end, bought the car used. do you know where i can buy a set of axles and bushings for a stock rear end?
