I have a 95 camaro z28 lt1 up until now its run fine. Looking for some help. About a week ago I cut the cat. Off of my car and replaced it with a pipe and a few clamps she ran fine for about and hour than started bogging down and just killed out on me on the interstate checked everything over and didn't have any spark. Replaced the opti spark and she ran fine for s couple hours than starting bogging down again. I started go leave the parking lot I was in to head for home and it was like trying to take off in fourth she wasn't moving than she killed out and made a psst noise and now it'll just turn over everytime it makes a round through the pistons it makes that noise and after you let off the starter it chugs and makes a couple more rounds through please help

 

Have you scanned the PCM for codes?

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

Have you checked to see if its getting spark?

What brand was the Optispark you installed?

 

Found out it was a bad coil wire
