Cam Specs?
Cam Specs?
So I bought my 95 a few weeks ago with a rebuilt motor. I talked to the shop that put it in, and he does back up what the seller said of it having a bigger than stock cam. He doesn't exactly remember what size it was though....says it's a comp cam and it's highest without computer mod. That would mean it's either a 304 or 305. Does anyone know of a trick way of finding out what cam specs you have without getting the cam out or tearing the motor apart? I'm thinking it will be along the lines of taking the valve covers and putting some measuring devices on the rockers to see how much lift it has, and then using some type of cam timing tool on the crank to see how long the duration is. Sounds pretty time consuming....any better ideas?
