Cam Question

My engine is stock and I want to run a stock valve train but I want to change the cam and the valve springs, put a fresh timming chain and do some porting and polishing and also a tune. Iam running 13.00 right now no tune but I got chassis, gear, Lt headers and exhaust. Or would you think I would be better off with spray. Thanx

Re: Cam Question

I'm biased towards a good cam and some porting because I think nitrous is the easy way out if you're basically stock or just have some bolt ons. Admittedly the nitrous system will be by far the easiest and cheapest. If you have the money do a cam and some portwork, if you're tight on funds go nitrous.

Re: Cam Question

Bad news is your not going to get anywhere with stock springs and parts.... just setting yourself up for a more expensive trip down the road.
