Cam question

I want to get a new cam. I will leave the heads stock for now, but after the cam swap probably will do 4:10 gears in the rear. What is a good cam that will make good power on stock heads?

my XE 230/236 .112 lobe separation

.555/.566 at 1.6

I was going to use it on my stock heads but I got a ticket so it needs to go...$200 shipped...lobes are in awesome condition as well as the dowel.

Nice promotional post Faceless

Good cams for stock heads IMO: Comp cams XE 218/224 , XE 224/230 , CC305, Hotcam... you can use bigger ones but only if you look to get new or P&P heads in the future, this is just my opinion.

Yes I did, are you a marketing major?

Also, alot of cam companys recommend gears/stall/full exhaust and cold air intake before the addition of a cam. I bet you have a M6 with those 4.10s so it looks like youll be set to go with the gears.

nope I cut open dead people...

all of this is recommended for the best output from a cam, but isn't necessary. supporting valvetrain IS necessary in order to run a cam though...
