Cam Question

Hey,
I just sent out my heads to get a stage II porting and intake to match. My question is about my cam. I have an SLP cam 218/224 .330/.335 114LSA. How much more power will I get out of the 305, 306 or another cam you recommend. These heads and intake flow really well in the 275-280 range at about .550 lift. Thanks in advance.

i was going to do the same thing with my heads, and i was looking to get the cc306, i got alot of people saying it would be very good, and would push out alot of power, especially with other mods also..

if you are getting your heads done, i would get the 306 if you are thinking about getting a 305 or 306...

But if you are just looking for the best cam you can get to push the most power, i think someone else can recommend a better cam than the 306.. especially with head work done.

If you are getting head work done, I wouldn't suggest a off the shelf cam. After getting the heads done I would grab the flow numbers and talk to Joe Overton or somebody about a custom grid, you would get much more power outa it.
