Is an LS1 cam bigger then an LT1 cam. The reason I ask, is because I have a 94 Firehawk with the LT1 and want to put new heads and a bigger cam in it. Will the LS1 cam go into the LT1 or not? I don't want it to have a "chug" to it though. Unless there is a different cam anybody would recommend. I'm thinking about using Vortech heads. Base your opinion on "money is no object". they are not compatible intake and exhaust valves are on different lobes for one thing

 

vortec heads won't work on a LT1, neither will a LS1 cam.
