The Bunny is about to die!

Hey all...well its come that time to start rippin apart my car again this year. It seems like every year I have to buy a lot of parts for my car in order to have it running. I just recently (last week actually) put new bearings in the tranny, new pilot bearing and I shattered my clutch so I bought a new Ram Clutch with all the usual goodies inside. But my car still runs like theres something wrong with the tranny. Example, when I start off extremly slow while turning I hear a scratching noise. Not a scrapping noise but it sounds like something metal is scratching metal. Also when I make a U-turn while going through the neighborhood and I take it out of gear, it sounds like the tranny is hitting something or vibrates itself. It doesn't shake the car but youy can feel it in the stick when you go from first to neutral.

Also, I just replaced my belt about 5 or 6 months ago and its already frade on the inside. Theres nothing touching it and theres nothing in its path. It also vibrates when the air conditioner is on....like you can see 7 belts when there is only one.

Help me out please! I could just go out a blow a couple grand on new parts-if I had the money. But there has to be a reason all this is happening. Thanks for all of the help.

the belt issue seems like you may either need a new belt tensioner or at worst a new compressor.

Compressor??? Are you talking about the air conditioner? That belt driven on the passenger side? I know I need a new one...but I dont feel like replacing belts every 6 months. I'll check that out once you reply back about that compressor thing. Thanks Buddy!!!!!!

Yes, he means the A/C compressor. If the bearing in the A/C compressor were going bad that would cause noise/vibration and would probably go through belts faster. But to be honest, I go through a serpentine belt every year anyway. It'll usually slip on an upshift, and once it slips, the belt glazes and will get worse and worse until I replace it.

So your saying it could possibly be the A/C....how much for a 1LE delete pulley? My AC barely works anyway even though it has a 100% full charge. I guess I could go out and get a new belt and see if it gets frad again but still, do you know of where i can get a pulley for the AC delete?? Thanks!
