cam installation? keep the old cam bearings?

I'm swapping out the hotcam for a more blower friendly cam.

Motor is staying in car. I've got it all stripped down w/ heads off.

Anyways. Should i reuse the old cam bearings or install new cam bearings with the new cam I'm putting in?

63000 miles on the motor.

If I should reuse them, do you have any tips about pulling the cam out in a manner that won't trash the bearings?

Cam bearings should be fine, just be careful when you remove the old cam..Just take your time and try not to bump any of them..

You can't replace all the cam bearings with the engine in the car, anyway.

^ Yep. The motor needs to come out for bearing replacement. Clean and careful working conditions are paramount in keeping your current bearings in good shape.

When you remove the cam inspect the front bearing and change it if you see copper. Very easy to change.
