End of Day 1. It's time to kick back and relax for a bit. So far it's major props to Cmotorsports for some nice help, and to all those otherwise that I got parts from. As it stands right now, everything is out of the way, I just need to finish getting the bolts for the intake manifold undone (but it's all disconnected - what a mess). If I'm lucky later I will get that finished and off the motor, the pushrods and lifters out.

So far, it's slow work. I called 4 local shops around me and they wanted between $800 and $1000 in labor to swap the cam, timing set, rockers, springs, pushrods and lifters. It certainly is time consuming, but for now I'm doing alright. It's beer thirty, so I'm off to a break.
