Most of the cam companies tech info on this simply says to take the block to a machine shop.

Installing them calls for using a special tool, which most don't have in their tool chest, nor the mics to do the measurements.

The upside is cam bearings rarely fail. About the only time they do is caused by improper camshaft installation when one (or more) of the bearings is gouged during cam installation.

Also, because of the length of the installation tool the block has to be out of the car to install them.
