You give us the lift of the cam but you say nothing about the duration of the cam.....or the static compression of the engine.

Both are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more important than lift. And ignoring these two measurements can result in a cam that's entirely wrong for your engine .

BTW, with 1.6 rockers, the lift will be .576".

.540 divided by 1.5 time 1.6 = .576" .

yes about injectors(based upon your power) guessing a 36# may be close. How often do you plan on spraying? Im fairly cam ignorant but if I remember correct more on the exhaust side favors the n2o. You said ported I am assuming you mean head ported. Any details on that may help the guys who know the proven combos. Might also want to include what your main use of car is and if its a daily driver or weekend warrior or track car and if your more geared at 1/4 mile or what. Some cams are friendlier than others when you look at your goals one may stand out.

Is the nitrous a wet or dry system? If it's wet, it does not affect the injector size. As I read it, you are just adding a cam to an engine with CAI, exhaust and other bolt ons. Appears you are indicating the heads were ported - to what flow level?

That might not require 36# injectors. Give us the estimated flywheel HP with the cam, but WITHOUT the nitrous, and we'll tell you what size injectors you need. For example, 450HP at the flywheel only needs 32 #/HR injectors.

If its a dry system, you have to tell us how you are adding the extra fuel.

Re: Cam help

The Aeromotive AFPR for the LT1 has a history of premature failure.

Re: Cam help

Help us by using some punctuation and giving us a full mod list.

List your mods out like this:

xxx headers
xxx ported heads
Bullet Cam 225/232 .540/.540 110LSA +4 [this probably means it has 4 degress of advance ground into the camshaft. If you install it "dot to dot" or "straight up" it'll automatically be advanced 4 degrees.] Post the ICL [intake centerline] and the advertised duration as well.
xxx gears
xxx brand stall and RPM [PS 2800rpm is too low, 3000 is acceptable for a bolt on car, 3200-4000 for cam and/or heads etc, unless you have a stall specifically setup for nitrous]

Let's get all the mods listed first, full specs on your build, motor, static compression [or the info we need to calculate it] and start from there.

Re: Cam help

Don't be soo worried about the cam
What u should be worried about is sending me the nitrous kit I traded u for that cam
Or sending me the cam back before it goes in any motor
How can u be on here worried about that cam And spraying it when u traded me the nitrous kit that's in ur car Cus u were going with a blower
