Cam help

ok, so I got my Long Tubes, and am installing them right now. just taking a short break. While I was under my car I started thinking about a new cam.. I'm looking for a slightly noticeable lope, and something that I can drive with the stock converter for now before I change over to an M6 later. This is for the car in my sig BTW. Any suggestions would be awesome. I'm running 14.10's with radials before the mods.. Would love to get close to 12's.. Please help me out

Go 4.10's if you are gonna run the 6 speed. You got to overdriven gears so you'll still pull down decent mileage. DR's and 4.10's should really put the strain on the crappy 10 bolt.

I got a 233/239 .534 int / .541 exh with comp 987 dual springs and titanium retainers I was going to use in my 383 but decided to work with Lloyd and Bret for a custom grind and comp beehive springs. I would sell the whole set up, brand new never used for $400 plus shipping.

EDIT: The cam is on a 112 LSA and lift numbers are using a 1.5 rr. With 1.6 rr the lift goes to .569int/ .577exh.

Re: Cam help

MadWolf has a great post on cam selection

http://web.camaross.com/forums/show...6&highlight=cam

Then there are the guys who go custom

As for getting one to install this weekend... I would really try and think about that. DON'T RUSH to do things like this, you most likely will not get what you want the first time around, end up with bad results, valve float etc...

BTW Unless the cam is sitting in someones shop or house your not going to get it for Friday if it has to be ground still.
