Exclamation Cam Change From Hot Cam To 230/236

i am currently running LT4 Hot Cam, LT4 Heads, intake, 1.6RR, 3.73 gears and 100 shot TNT nitrous kit along with 4L60E auto tranny with 3000 vig stall converter. This car is a daily driver an average of 160 miles a week. Also, my heads have been ported CC machined. I am currently running 11.70s in the 1/4 mile - no other changes have been made.

What benefit if any will be gained with a CC230/236 with 110 lope separation?

Are you still running the stock exhaust manifolds? I didn't see headers in your mod list...

If you are, I wouldn't try to move anymore air into the motor until you get a set of longtubes so you can move that air out too.

If you already have headers, then the 230/236 will give you a nice gain over the hotcam with those heads. I'm assuming you have LT4 valve springs, if thats the case you would need to upgrade springs when you install the cam. Those LT4s are barely enough for a hotcam, let alone an XE230/236.

Also will most likely need to upgrade your fuel injectors. Should give you a good gain in power as that's a much bigger cam, might ask around the nitrous section about a 110 LSA as I thought a wider LSA was better for the gas.
