cam change

I dont have a lot of cash to be spending on heads and cam, so can i expect much gain out of doing a cam swap as far as hp and track times, and what is the best cam to go with on a stock 97 ta that will not require a lot of changing other stuff other than maybe springs? And what would I be looking at in cost for cam and decent springs?

it really wouldnt be worth the time or effort to change the cam if you dont want to do a lot, at the very least you would have to go with new springs, a cam is about 250 for most any grind and springs etc are about 150, though if you still have stock manifolds you wont get as big of a jump.. best think to do would be to get headers and keep cam stock for now

Alot of guys are using the Hot cam kit with stock heads. I think you can get the kit for less than $500 and you would definately see power gains without HAVING to change a lot of other things.

cc305 is a better cam than the hotcam, or call cam motions and get a custom grind.
