Normally I'd agree with the 503 suggestion, but since you're upgrading your heads soon, you can go bigger now.

Jesus.... don't go after the CC306, it's not a newer better design. The CC503 is the best cam mentioned in this thread. Bigger is not always better here.

Make sure you get good springs as well, getting a cam and spring kit that are matched is as important as what duration, lift, LSA and lobes you are using.

That doesn't mean its not faster. My car with a 210/224 cam was faster than it was with a 222/230 cam, and the 210/224 was just on a mail order tune, the 222/230 was dyno tuned, I put on true duals, ported intake manifold, and 58mm TB and it was still slower at the track. Power under the curve > peak #'s. I'm anxious to see how my new BRE cam does once I get all the bugs worked out of it.

I would listen to those two guys above. Pick a cam to fit your application.

Depends on the RPM and if you can get the valvetrain to work with them... the XFI's are good for some applications, not so for others.

Lobes don't care about the cubes..... as I said RPM is the problem with them. They are way better than the older XE lobes, but strokers like lots of lift.
