Cam Specs

I know some people run the CC306 and GM847 on stock heads, I don't know if I would. If you don't have money to do both, maybe you can do it for now and then get heads later so you don't have to do the cam swap twice. What springs do you have? Why not get a custom cam and heads all at once? Will be a much better setup.

GM847 is old technology, so out of those, considering you're definitely going to get heads in a few months, get the CC306. You can check out the xfi cams from comp or the lunati voodoo cams, but I'd get a professional to setup your valvetrain since they're pretty agressive.

More duration and more lift usually makes more power if you can get it tuned right.

Of those 3, I would probably go with the CC503 on stock heads.
