No cam assembly lube in my hotcam kit either.

Comp Cams and Crane Cams recommend oil just on the bearing journals and assembly lube on the lobes and oil pump drive gear. Most people just put assembly lube on every thing so it doesn't drip off. But to each their own.
you guys act like it is a big deal to use oil. oil is fine, its not gonna hurt anything. Roller cams arent gonna wear much. hell i dont even remember if even put any lube on my cam into my new motor. Maybe al ight coating of oil, but thats it.

I worked 1-8 sat and 10am-1230am today. The cam is in, vavle springs changed, CSI in the housing. I still need to put the intake back on, adjust the rockers, wire the csi, then fire er UP! Might take off of work tuesday to try to wrap it up.
