Cam

How can i tell if i have a cam installed in my motor or any other internals.. because i bought the car after motor and tranny was rebuilt.. and i pull real hard on 93's that have similar work as mine does.. also i ran with a goat in the 1/4 and lost by about 2 feet.. i know that i must have more done to my car

Aside from pulling the cam and looking for stampings, you could remove a valve cover and use one of these http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku, less the degree wheel (for a rough idea), to measure max lift on the cam. It's kind of a PITA since you have to rotate the crank slowly and watch the depth gauge. Then compare to stock - Camshaft Specs (12551705): 205/207 duration @ 50*, .447/.459″ lift w/1.5:1 rockers, 117 Lobe Separation Angle. Stock cam lobe height is 0.298/0.306.

thanks yeah i think im gonna buy a cam and put it in .. and if there was one already i will just sell it.. im not really that concerned seeing if there was any tricks that i didnt know.. but i didnt think soo

Most likely the old owner would have told you something like that. 93's are known for Factory Freaks, but who knows.
