You will need a good set of headers to take advantage of the cam, and a tune for sure. That cam will work well with stock heads though if your heart is set on it. The idle is very nice in 6 speeds and still pretty decent in auto cars too.

I ran that cam on stock heads and loved it. You really need to get some Headers tho, the idle is pretty choppy and sounds great, will need a good mail order tune or a dyno tune to drive nice. If your an automatic you will need a stall first, I drove it without a stall for a while and the car drove like crap. If your a stick you are fine. Not sure where you are willing to rev the motor but it will want to be shifted upwards of 6300-6400 for maximum performance.

The stock valve springs may have a difficult time dealing with lifts above 0.500" or rpms above 5,500. You may want to consider upgrading valve springs and take the opportunity to install 1.6 RRs.

True, I wouldn't trust any aftermarket cam with stock springs.
