Which cam?
Which cam?
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a cam that will work well for a 93Z with M6, very minor botl ons? I'd like the cam to be aggressive enough to later work well with a set of stock ported heads.. any input would be great.
Re: Which cam?
cc305? or cc503 would be nice. they arent tooo big and they would work well. If you didnt mind a huge exhaust lope..and sacrifice a little drivability go with the gm847...awwwsome cam in my opinion.

Well i'll start saving my pennies now lol. Its hard to take your time when you are talking about working on something you are so emotionally connected with, but i guess i'll have to. I would much rather do the swap myself so that any money i save on their labor could be used toward other parts.. but living in CA... no garage... no fun!

Yea i understand your method. I guess i can hijack my own thread...
Anyone ever have a rear main seal replaced? if so, how much was the labor? I was at my local stop n lube and they said my real main seal is leaking.. and thats the pesky leak i have been chasing..

Remember it is a '93 and is speed density. It will have to have some dyno tuning to preform right.
Re: Which cam?
good point... i anticipate some serious dyno time. I have to keep things realistic. I would like to hit the mid 12's with this current (tired motor) and then move onto more serious power levels later on.
Re: Which cam?
Which is easier to tune Speed Density or Mass Air? and which would yall rather have? I'm Courious someone told me to switch my 94 Z that will soon have a 398 LT4 in it and i was wondering about the Speed Density deal. A guy at a shop told me to switch it over, i was kinda skepical on what he was saying.

He might have wanted ya to change 'cause he don't know how to work with SD. Mass air would be better for a larger cam and street duty.
