Cam

I have a 1994 Z28 with 138,xxx miles with a CAI, TB, MAF, and the dynomouth exhaust with no cat, stock intake and heads. I am really thinking hard about getting a cam but I am very new to the internals and am just looking for some help. I would like it to knock and run more in the 1500-5500/6000 rpm range. Is this possible with this mileage? If so what is a good cam to consider? What else would also be good things to change with the swap? Thanks in advance for the help. Also if anyone reads this thats from the Memphis,TN area and would like to get with me and just talk to me bout it or even help that would be great.

The best advice I, or anyone on this board, can give you is to research this very in depth. You can use the search feature at the top of this forum to do a search, and I guarantee you that all you ever wanted to know about LT1 cams will be found.
Good luck
