I would suggest getting some 30lb injectors in there. Go ahead spend the 250 bucks on some used SVO injectors and new 190L/Hr pump new so then at least you are set when it comes to fuel. I myself have a 255 High Pressure and love it. I am sure my injectors are with in reason of the duty cycle.
Now as far as rwhp goes with an auto 335-350 should be a good number to shoot for with a hotcam and and auto with some heads. Do a search for hotcam users and see what kind of numbers they are putting down. A converter will not yeild any hp gains, however it will wake the hell up outta your motor and car. I HIGHLY recommend getting one, ESP. if you are going to do a cammed automatic car.
MadZ28 has done wonders for people here on the board. Ion is a really nice guy and treats his customers well, there havent been any complaints of him. And you can not beat his prices with a stick. OBD I would be his bread and butter...

The 1.6's are fine but you will need to change valve springs with with just about any aftermarket cam. The hotcam kit comes with cam, springs and 1.6rr's. Its a good deal. If you go with the CC305 you will need some springs, I cant remember the part number but there are some that just drop right in and add the 1.6rr into that also. The CC305 will make slightly more hp, like about 5? Give or take, they are very close, and it is easier to get past the sniffer. It comes down to your preference and how much you want to spend. Do a search if you have anymore questions, this stuff has all been talked about before. Good luck
