So i want to order Tunercat instead of LT1 edit. What do i need to order to start tunning?
RT Tunner (which should come with a deffinition file right?)
Any Definition files?
CalData?
TDFEditor?
What did you guys start out with? This is my current experiment and i'm also ordering an LM-1 wideband o2 device.

You need the Tuner program ($69.95) and the EE/EEB definition file ($19.95)
You will also need a cable if you haven't already purchased one. The website is www.akmcables.com

I don't like the handheld units like LM-1. They are garbage in my opinion, even though I might get flamed for this.
The wideband I use are the ones which come as a package with a dyno purchase. (so basically I dyno tune on the dyno)
You can work on your part throttle until your handheld unit arrives. Yes, the EE is the same as EE/EEB, but EE is what you'll want to use.

Also a way to log data is handy as well, I use Datamaster. But others use other programs.
The first thing to do is take your time and read read read on the net and ask questions. The Thirdgen site has a good section for DIY tuning although alot of the tables etc are named different for their stuff. But the basics are there and well described. I havent got a wideband yet but plan on one. I have done most of my tuning by driving in different situations (wot, and around town) it's taken probably 20 flashes but I'm learning and getting there. Do changes in small increments.
