My a/c compressor is shot and whenever i turn the a/c on, the pulley sparks and turns red hot. I have come to the conclusion that if it isnt engaged, i wont have any problems. I pulled the relay for the a/c compressor, will this prevent it from coming on 100%. Im worried that it may come on with my defogger or come on automatically for certain reasons and melt my belt. Am i safe for now or is tehre anything else i should do?
