A/C Question

I searched but i couldnt find an answer so I decided to post this up...

the line that goes near my battery somehow developed a leak, so I replaced that, and also the 'dryer' because I wasnt sure if moisuture would have messed it up, and for about 500 miles I got cold air out of the a/c settings. I went to drive the car the other day, and now I get a whistling, or whining type sound coming from somewhere under the dash when I have it one of the three 'blue' settings (Max A/C, A/C, and upper and lower vent setting) Anyone know where I might look to see what problem is?

dont think so, I replaced the 3 way check valve that is on the passenger side with a 2 way (since I couldnt find a 3 way) about 3 months ago, when all that would happen would the defroster vent would blow.. but could be right and somehow a line came undone, but it did work for a while, and then when I decided to drive it again, it wouldnt... I'll go back and check in a few minutes and see what I can find. My friend told me that it could be A/C clutch (didnt actually look at it, this was over the phone)
