A/C Fixed (for now)
A/C Fixed (for now)
OK, thanks for looking! I've resolved my A/C issues for now.
Easiest fix I ever did! The A/C system took nearly 3 cans (actually I think I wasted much of the 3rd can.
We'll see how badly the leak is by how long the A/C blasts cold air. If it lasts 2-3 months I'll be extremely happy.
Anyone contemplating charging theiur own system should do it themselves. Don't pay the mechanic!
Buy the kit with the gauge, adaptor, and 1 can of refrigerant ($25 at Walmart), 1-2 extra refrigerant cans at $5-$10 /can (depending on brand) and you're all set whenever you need it.
Just don't overfill.
One final question, does your A/C system HUMM/BUZZ under the hood when it runs?
