Buying Slicks, help need it!
I'm not sure if I should get the 26 or 28 (by 10.5) tall M/ts slicks
Im gonna be spraying 125 or maybe a 150 shot out of the hole (mods in sig.)
I will think that the 28 would perform better since I plan in sparying out of the hole with an M6.
But what do you guys think?

I think that you will blow up the 10 bolt launching on slicks and nitrous out of the hole. I believe the a 10.5 wide 28 inch tire will not fit without significant modification to the rear fenderwells, but the 26x10.5 will fit pretty well. Also, the 26" tire would give you a better gearing advantage as you will not max out 4th gear with your combo. 5700rpm in 4th gear with a 26" tire is ~129mph, and ~139mph with a 28" tire. 3rd gear is 99mph and 107mph respectively.

I ran a 28x11.5-15 (28.0" OD) Hoosier QTP in the stock wheel wells. The axle assembly had to be move back about 1/4" to avoid hitting the front sheetmetal edge of the 1/4-panel, when the tires grew at trap speeds over 125MPH. When I switched to a 28x10.5-15W ET Drag, it required considerable cutting away (1.5") of the rear bumper cover, even though the ET Drags are only quoted at 28.1" OD.
For a 125-shot out of the hole, a 26" or 27" tire should be adequate. Consider a 26x11.5, or a 27x10.5 ET Street. Remember to take into consideration your estimated trapp speed as noted in the post above, since going from a 26" tire to a 28" tire is like reducing you rear end ratio numerically by 7 to 8%.

You don't want "zero-spin"
You want about 180 degrees of rotation.

Motor boggs if you have no spin. That is what he is saying. There is a certian ideal spin to the tire. It allows for higher trap speeds and doesn't bogg the engine down......also no spin usually breaks things faster.
