That is a really tough decision: Goodyear F1 GS D3's Vs Firehawk SZ250. I am not sure which ones i want to get either. I was thinking about nitto drag radials, but i know they are no where near the wet weather traction of the two former tires. Like i said earlier will i be able to get a decent 60 ft out of a near stock Z28 with 3.42 gears with the Goodyears or Firehawks? Arrr so hard to decide.
I am on my second set of Firehawks. They are awesome in the dry and especially the wet, they hold up well, and are also more quiet than most. They are the only tires going on my car.
I also have pulled several 2.0 60' times with my 6M on the SZ-50s.

7.4" for the Firehawk would SUCK big time, even 7.9" for the D3's would be bad. Maybe the measurement isn't that accurate at tirerack, but I don't know if I'd go with either tire until I saw them in person. They both seem so narrow(less than 8") I was thinking about the D3's. Now I'd have to seriously reconsider it. To me, the look of a wide tire is sweet on our cars.
The thing I like about the D3's is the low noise factor, besides the great handling. My RE730's are LOUD, but perform VERY well. I've considered taking off the RE730's because they are so loud even though there is plenty of tread left.
