Does everyone really think long tubes are the way to go? If the car has 3:42's which I think it might I will probably leave them alone. Unless majority rules and 4:10's win. Hahaha

Not knowing exactly what you plan on doing with it, this is what I did with my '96 since it's my daily driver...in order of my importance. (It already came with a Flowmaster style dual, slash tip cat back.)

1. Subframe Connectors
2. Shock Tower Brace
3. Skip Shift Eliminator
4. Hurst Short Stick w/ Leather ****
5. SLP Cold Air Intake

I knew someone would chime in with suspension mods sooner or later. The car will be doing NO autocross or roadracing so I am not concerned with that as of now. Oh man I am so excited guys! I have had an IROC and 2 F bodies and they were all automatic. I cant wait to own a 6spd!!!

Does anyone know....with 4.10's and a 6spd in the quarter mile will you cross in 4th gear or have to shift to 5th?

I've always crossed in 4th, with boltons and after the cam.

My top 5 favorite mods that I've done so far in order were:

Hotcamkit/tuning
SLP 94/95 headers & ORP
4:10's
Borla
SLP CAI

I would say good a get 3 inch catBACK I like the hooker for about 300. And cold air so that engine can breathe a bit.
