Guys, during my cam, header install I have busted a sensor, on the front of the driver side head. Can someone tell me what it is and if I can get it at a local parts store? Here is a pic.

good site thanks! Used to working on older cars, I just unplug this junk and plug it back up, not knowing what it is!

 

There are two temp sensors on your motor. The one you broke is the one that feeds the dash gauge. The other temp sensor is located in the waterpump housing. It feeds the PCM the coolant temp.

You should be able to get a replacement at any local autoparts store. Just make sure they give you the correct temp sensor; since there are two of them.

Ask for the one that installs in the head.
