building a system.
building a system.
Hey All,
Trying to make a real nice system here not just parts:
I have bought the CC305 Cam
I am starting a complete engine overhaul as some of you may know and was wondering if anyone would advise me on a good "SYSTEM"
Heads (LE1? LE2?) with the CC305 or lloyds cam?
CAm
Engine work
I am looking for 380 - 450 RWHP -
Car must be emissions legal and will mostly be used for street use.
do i go with a 383?
Do i bore out my 350 ... to what? .030? Thanks all
One more thing... the Rod bearings it says the torque is 20 lbs then 55 degrees... anyone have a real final torque seting on this? thanks. ...
Anyhelp would be great
Thanks!
Brad!

Re: building a system.
Get them TTY bolts out of there and get a set of ARP's and have the rods resized.
Give LE a call and talk to him about the complete set up with heads, springs, cam, and intake.
Get big heads and a small cam for your emmissions.
Stay with a 383 to make that kind of power with emissions.
