Building a Stroker
Building a Stroker
I am in the process of building a 383 stroker. I have a 94 Lt1 and i was wondering what the best complete stroker package to use was. Also what is a good cam to use with the 383 stroker. Is the LT4 hot cam kit compatible. Thanks
LT4 HOT is WAYYY too mild for as stroker. You'd want to weigh your choices...decide how much you want to spend on a stroker kit...and look more into what cam you'd want...Comp Cam offers some good custom grinds...many have gone with the CC306 but thats more with a mild stroke....
Do some research and see what you come up with. Try www.strokerkits.com
Good luck!

You can choose to go with a mail-in tune through pcmforless.com. Just let them know everything that you've had done and they'll hook you up for a decent price.

Could you tell me approximately how much gas mileage I'd be losing if I had decided to, say, go with the stroker set-up you've used? How 'streetable' is it?
Any info would be a great help!
