Swapping out LCAs tomorrow and gonna pick up some new bolts.

Anyone know what size/length the LCA bolts are?

they are 18mm on the hex head if my memory is correct. They are special bolts and you'll need to go to the dealer or order them from some place like bmr if your thinking about replacing them.

 

Yes, they are very high grade bolts with pointed ends to aide in insertion. Best to get the factory ones or ones made to replace them.

 

ah alright, ill just leave em then! i was gonna get some grade 8 ones, but if they are that strong already no point in replacing them.

 

They are pretty durable. You can beat them in with hammer and they will be fine. The chassis bolts are tough stuff.

 

They also have a slightly larger diameter shoulder than the actual thread. Replaced mine with grade 8's, the originals were to rusty. Dealer wanted something like 6 bucks per bolt, probably could get them for less from Dal
