Like I stated in the original post, I will be building an LT1 engine and am looking to spend $10,000 to $15,000 on the engine.

Easy answer to this...

buy this engine for $7k and spend the rest on converting to EFI

if you want to stay LT1, twin turbo. That and building a 400+ CI LT motor would be the only thing i really see as rare.
Everything else has been done already. These motors are 15+ yrs old.

Twin turbo would put this combo well beyond the amount I want to spend, and a 400+ cube motor doesn't excite me a whole lot. I guess I'll just have to decide whether a D1SC or a 200 shot is worth it more.

Good point about the engines being 15 years old, not to mention not too much different than a traditional SBC. I guess I'll stick to my original plan and look at which power adder will be worth it.

you would stay in budget for both a TT setup and 400+ cubes if your doing the work yourself. Building the headers and other hotparts would be a rough one tho.

ive read about a few 327 lt1's. Also some guys run a 3.625 stroke crank and end up in the 370 cube range.

intidi8's car was a 355 than a 357. They may of stroked it too if you saw something where it said 383.

I live 15min away from speed inc. They do great custom turbo kits, nice stuff. All their shop cars are clean as **** and their all 10 second cars.

How many others did you find like it though?
