Broken Motor Mount Bolt

Hey guys, Passenger side. The top right bolt that bolts the mount to the block is broken. Just picked up the engine from a salvage yard. Noticed there is a minor seperation to the right and left of the bolt as well in that little bung that it screws into.
Is this something to be concerned about? Or should I just drill the bitch out and put a new one in. I tried turning it out w/ vice grips but it just tore the threads off of what was sticking out.

I would remove it and replace with a new one if it were me.

Any suggestions for getting the damn thing out? I've been using 7 inch vice grips on it and all they do is slide around and rip the threads off of the bolt stickin out.

if you don't have a torch, take it by a local shop, they should be able to pull it easy enough

a nice little map or even propane tank will do the trick with enough force, if you still cant get it any shop can do it

Would it be that bad to just go w/ 2 bolts instead of 3 on that side?

I wouldn't; you want your mounts to be strong...You can try to drill it out by starting with a small drill-bit and working your way up until you leave just a "ring" of threads, then get an easy-out and back the "ring" out.
