Broke temp sensor during header install

So, yeah like the title says. Got the new one in and I saw there are two wires coming from the connector to the wiring harness but there is only wire from the harness to the connector/two wires.

It's green but I KNOW there has to be a second wire. I traced the harness back just to make sure I didn't snag the original wire but it must come from a different section and meet up with the green wire enclosed in the plastic safety tubing stuff.

The temp sensor in the head has one green wire and that's it. Be careful of getting the wrong sensor from parts houses.

That's normal. There is only one wire.

Just went through this same problem yesterday. You have to ask for a temperature SWITCH not sensor. Autozone part # TU152. Had to go back three times and finally found the right person behind the counter that knew what I was looking for.

Maybe at AZ, but it is listed as a sensor in the GM and AC-Delco books. I mean, it doesn't switch anything, LOL.

All 93-97 use the same part #. Shoebox already posted it:

Auto zone Duralast # TU152 Temp Switch as it says on the box. I had looked up the sensor on Napa, Oreily's, and AZ only to have the wrong part listed. The right one is listed if you search for temperature switch. The black cover sensor is the wrong one you want the one with the gray plastic cover.
