Neil, dude, you're your own worst enemy. Was the spark plug loose? It sounds like the spark plug was loose or the EGR valve/block off plate was loose. No big deal - don't be a dram queen bro! .

Spark plugs been in there 4 years, have you ever had one do that Ryan? I didnt think spark plugs just fell out. Oh well one less to change for long tubes right, glad it was simple.

haha i saw the original thread and this happened to a friend of mine and i was going to say sprak plug fell out but figured id get flamed

LOL, thats what it tunred out to be. Man who said plugs were bad on a LT1, they take them selves out

Thats what Id be scared off. If it keeps combusting the chamber when its 1/2 way out thatd put a ****load of stress on what little threads still held it in.

Sparkl plugs need to be torqued harder than what you'd think.

Million dollar question: Are those stock, untouched plugs?

LOL, nope NGK TR55s circa 2002. I popped a new TR55 in today to keep it going for the next few weeks, I have a set of TR6s waiting to go in with Long Tubes. The new plug went in fine, just drove it, runs fine, pulled smooth. The threads werent perfect on the old TR55 though. I have another set of heads for the car though, so if it is a problem, excuse to do heads and cam.
