I have a 95z28 that just recently had something go wrong with it. I can't figure out what it is. It's seams to me when i push my pedal down to really gun the car is when it makes the sound. It's wierd. It like rpm's rise and then you here this pop pop pop sound. It may be more like the sound of a vacumm sucking in air and you putting your hand over it and then taking it off serval times really fast. I hope you guys know what i mean. At first I thought it was my tranny b/c it seamed like it didn't want to shift or it made the sound when the auto tranny had to down sihft to take off. But then it made the sound in 2nd when i took of fast from a stop sign. I dunno what could make this happen. The car runs fine if you don't push it, but when ya push it hard it makes this sound. Normally i would just no worry about it but it's my track car and i need to get it fixed in 2 weeks. We looked at it in auto tech but couldn't figure it out. Let me know what ya think.
