MSD Ignition Control

Does the MSD Ignition control do much for your car, I have heard people say it does and it doesnt, just wondering if its worth the money. Also, Are MSD wires any good? Are taylors good, and what makes them good??

The MSD does make a difference. I have a 6AL on my car. I have however heard that a lot of people have problems with the digital 6. I don't know if this still happening or not. I am assuming that you have an LT1 car. The LTCC setup, from what i hear, is very good and reliable. It uses individual coil packs from an LS1 car. It is slightly more expensive than just an ignition box though.

As for the wires, i don't think you can go wrong with the MSDs or the Taylors. Basically what makes them "good" is the wire itself has a lower resistance per foot than stock or standard (like from Autozone) wires. With that you get a better spark. My .02

I would not use their coil i just chucked mine and many others have had lots of problems with them. Do a search, get a Accel.I have MSD wires and like them a lot.. Personaly i would use a stock Delco coil its good for 700+ hp.
