broke coolant temp censor

i brok my coolant censor when taking my stock manifold out. is there a place to get a cheap one or am i stuck paying the $22 that my chevy dealership wants. is there any other way around this?

I have a friend that did this recently he got a new one from Autozone for $12 (I think) .
