Brents headlight fix

what tools/equipment will i need to do the job right?

All you need is a socket wrench to take the arm off the motor. If i recall correctly its a 10 mm. then rotate the gear 180 degrees and reattach the arm. Its only a temporary fix, after about a month it only started grinding again.

It will work until the other side wears out. How long is that? Depends on how often you raise and lower the lights.

son of a bitch! now I have thenoise when the light goes up, but no noise when it goes down...

You may have to take the gear out of the motor housing to find the good part of the gear. In my car, before i just got a new motor, 180 degrees didnt do it. I found the good part of the gear then sealed the housing back up, and all was good for another month and a half.
