I went with napa ceramics because of the praise they recieved from some of the board members and 1 of my friends here in tampa.
I did the ls1 brake upgrade at the same time so i couldnt really judge if they were better than the stock pads.

My friend just put napa ceramics on his lt1 calipers yesterday and said it was a big improvement. The napa ceramics produce zero brake dust. Your rims will get dirty via outside elements before they get dirty from brake dust.

You need to take your buddy's comments alittle lighter. Ran ceramics for 50 thousand miles prior to doing the ls1 brake upgrade and the rotors needed replaced. Plus the 40 thousand miles oem pads put on it.
Your worrying too much.
I went with the Napa ceramics cuz i've heard zero complaints and 2 prior EBC green stuff pad users told me that the napa's were better than the green stuff. Dont know if they are but I know the pads work great. My prior ceramics squeeled for 12 thousand miles and squeeled at 5 mph in parking lots.
