Arrow bottom end buildup

hi to all,
i have a '94 z28 convertible. i have just hit 100,000. the mods i have made to this point are: borla catback exhaust/slp headers & random tech. high flow cat convertor. i have taylor 8mm wires with splitfire spark plugs and 160 degree hypertech thermostat. i have just installed 17" slp ss wheels & firehawk tires. I have just bought some used gtp stage 2 heads they have 6k miles on them along with a lt1 ported powdercoated red intake manifold & lt4 knock module. I am planning to purchase an lt4 hotcam kit, convert to a '95 opti, and a vigilante 2800 and new lifters and motive or strange 3:73 gears, currently have stock 3:23.
i'm goin to try to squeeze these mods in before summer hopefully. what kinda horsepower am i looking at with these mods, and can the bottom end hold up???? i don't have the $$$$$$$$ this year for bottom end rebuild. should i go to a speed shop??????? i can probably save money if i go to my buddys shop. anybody have any other suggestions on handling improvements or others for my convertible. thanks

With all those mods, and along with proper tuning, u could shave a whole second off ur quarter mile time. The Hot Cam kit is not too aggressive that u have to worry about rebuilding ur bottom end right away, however it is something u should keep in mind in the future. When ur ready, bore that thing .030 over and get a nice set of forged pistons and it's like ur right back at 0 miles.

Just a small problem in your mods to come deal. If you have a set of ported LT1 heads(or any LT1heads for that matter) that LT4 intake won't fit. I have heard of some people doing something to make them fit but I wouldn't think that you would gain enough from it to make the effort worth it. And my and my cousin learned real fast that RPM's will quickly tear a stock bottom end apart. I was spinning my car to 6500 and blew it up, he was spinning his about the same I think and blew it up. So I'll say if you keep your RPM's down you shouls be fine.
