I believe the rear speakers draw power directly from the deck on the Bose system. I never found amps for the rears either. I ran all new wires to my speakers though. I wasn't terribly impressed with the 14-16 guage wire that the Bose speakers were hooked up to. HTH

I believe the amp for the sail panel speakers is in the sub box in the hatch area....

He's right, in the rear speakers in the trunk, the amp is built in the box. For the rear seat and the front door speakers, the amp is built into the plastic adaptors that the speakers bolt onto. If you take the bolts out of the plastic adaptor and take the adaptor out of the door/side panel, you will see the amp on the bottom of them. It's a little black box molded into the adaptor. You should wire around them when you install an aftermarket headunit or amplifier. I think that you can use the stock wires if you use the wires that go into the black boxes. You cannot use the wires coming out of the black boxes, because if you did that you have an amplified signal coming from the headunit, going into the Bose amplifier at the speaker, and then going to the speaker. You will either burn out the Bose amp and get no sound at all or you will get horrible distortion. Best bet is to run wires from the aftermarket headunit to each speaker, using a 14 or 16 gauge wire.

Yes the 3 and 5 speaker Bose has 2 different rear sub enclosure types..
And the amps for the sail speakers in the 5 speaker are in the rear sub..
